Description From 2005-03-02 09:51:40
On version 1.0.1 it is impossible to connect with access point (version 1.0.0
works well, but there is no way to change rate).

This is from dmesg
ipw2200: U ipw_best_network Network 'MYESSID (00:11:22:24:33:22)' excluded
because configured rate mask excludes AP mandatory rate.

(I changed mac address)...

Add mandatory rates into supported rates

This patch adds mandatory rates back into the supported rates, regardless of if
the user has requested to mask them out. This should allow the driver to
associate with APs that require support of basic rates that the user does not
wish to use.

Please try the above patch and let us know if it changes the behavior to what
you would expect.
------- Comment #3 From 2005-03-23 23:18:08 -------
The patch is in ipw2200 1.0.2, could you try this version to see whether the
problem is resolved? Thanks.

Hi Rafal,
Has this problem been resolved for you in recent versions of the driver
(preferably 1.0.6)?
------- Comment #5 From 2005-11-23 21:52:41 -------
Since there is no more update from the reporter for serveral months and we can
assoicate the APs, I verify this bug.
If anyone finds this problem again, please reopen it.
