When running 'iwpriv eth1 reset' with ipw2100-1.0.2 (kernel 2.6.11-rc1) I get a lot of NETDEV WATCHDOG timeouts in the system log, and no firmware reset is scheduled. Networking applications stop responding and I have to reboot to restore normal behavior. <snip syslog> Jan 13 10:50:29 [kernel] ipw2100: exit - failed to send CARD_DISABLE command Jan 13 10:50:29 [kernel] ipw2100: ipw2100: Fatal interrupt. Scheduling firmware restart. - Last output repeated twice - Jan 13 10:50:31 [kernel] ipw2100: exit - failed to send CARD_DISABLE command J </snip syslog> This doesn't happen with ipw2100-0.56 which schedules a firmware reset as expected.
Fixed in 1.0.5
